Flower Arrangement in paper for children.

This creative project for children is quite long but it can be divided in various steps. First, the teacher has to gather the required material. The most important is the handicraft paper that we call in French language "papier crépon". After the flower making comes the flower arrangement or Ikebana (in Japanese language). The teacher can stop here for the lesson but if he/she has more time the teacher can go to a photography session with the flower arrangement. This is a step where children learn how to use a digital camera according the scene. After this step, the teacher could help the children to do a treatment to the picture with Adobe Photoshop. While focusing this step, the children could learn to make some writtings on the picture like "Happy Birthday" or "Happy Mother's Day"... Adding colors, graphic styles... children will learn how to make his/her own postcard. The last part is printing or gathering photos to show an exhibition at school or anywhere else ! Ok, let's do it !!!
